Silent Disco

Usually, you listen to music completely alone.

I decided to create a way for people connect their music and make listening a social experience.

This exhibit let people press their devices together and mix their songs together into something new.

Silent Disco

Project Duration: 1 week

Team Size: Just me

The Set Up

It was a station where you could listen to 4 styles of music: chip tunes, funky drums, classical piano, and synth bass. The exhibit was shown in Stanford's Reframe: First Launch event.

How it works

You listen to a style of music and when you press the device with another one, the styles mix into a completely new song.

It's more fun to do this with a friend.
